I have been taking street photos since 1970, of all types of people; people down and out, people going about their daily lives, people who I lived and worked with, people who I crossed paths with once, people who I interacted with daily. It began as a need to connect with people as I thought my powers to verbally connect were lacking. As I grew more confident (and subsequently verbose) as years passed, I still found that the street photos were the ones that I wished to pursue for my creative and artistic satiafaction.
